Chip Wilson is a lifelong resident of the Charlotte area. He’s spent most of his adult life as a journalist, traveling through every nook and cranny of Gaston and Mecklenburg counties.

He has spent six years as an active real estate investor – buying, selling and renting houses through auctions, bank-owned sales and HUD foreclosures. It’s been profitable and a lot of fun – especially the discovering of not-so-pretty houses and getting them transformed into beautiful homes.
 


Chip believes that real estate should be a part of every long-term investment plan, but only if you buy at the right price and have the right team of experts.

Chip also holds a Certified Distressed Property Expert designation.  He is trained to assist with foreclosure prevention strategies.

Chip lives in Belmont’s Adams Bluff neighborhood with his wife, Terri, and son, Christopher, a student at Webb Street School. He is a graduate of Hunter Huss High School and UNC Chapel Hill.
